Historic Site tours

Tours of the historic site are docent-led and by appointment only. There is no access to the interiors of the historic buildings without a docent-led tour. Walk-ins are limited to be added to existing appointments only and are often not available.

Tour appointments are available Tuesday through Saturday. We are closed on Sundays and federal holidays, as well as San Geronimo Feast Day (September 30). Tours last about two hours and we generally start them at 10 a.m. or 2 p.m., though this is flexible.

All of our docents are volunteers and come in specifically for each tour, so please book as far in advance as possible so we can get on their calendars.

When you make a tour request, you’ll get an automatic email response showing the dates and times of your request. This is not a confirmation; you will receive personalized email confirmation if and when a docent can be booked for you, and we’ll let you know if no one is available.
